Disney Heightens Security at its Theme Parks

If you are heading to Disney theme parks this holiday season, take note: New security measures have been instituted in the wake of recent attacks, as well as a recent attempt by a guest to enter Disneyland in California with a gun.

Expect longer lines at Disney World and Disneyland Resorts, which now require visitors to pass through metal detectors before entering the theme parks. Other measures include banning all toy guns, including those sold as toys by Disney, and wearing masks with costumes.

Following suit, Universal Studios and SeaWorld will also implement metal detectors at entry.
