Dorney Park Reopens for 134th Season

For the 134th year, Allentown’s Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom will reopen in the Lehigh Valley for a summer full of amusement. The reopening takes place on Saturday, April 29, with new rides, new shows, new enhancements and new food and beverage offerings.

Downey Park enhancements include money-saving dining plans for its 19 food and beverage offerings, including Chickie’s & Pete’s Sports Bar. New offerings include an Auntie Anne’s and Papa Luigi’s. Season Passholders can also add a drink plan to their dining plan for unlimited drinks. Season Pass holders, who get early admission on Friday, April 28, can also add limited Fast Lane Plus speed passes for larger lines.

For entertainment, Cirque Imagine! is a 30-minute live show featuring aerialists, acrobatics and circus-style performances that begin June 17. The performances will run Thursdays through Tuesdays throughout the day at the Good Time Theatre. Also opening this year is the new circular ride on the main midway called Kaleidoscope.

At Wildwater Kingdom, which reopens on May 27, 17 new cabins will take the daily total to 29, offering private seating, food and beverage service and other amenities for full-day rentals.

Special events this summer at Dorney Park include Food Truck Fridays new event, taking place May 5, 12 and 19, along with Food Truck Rally in August. A Mother’s Day Brunch and Memorial Day Cookout will also be featured. Special pricing is available during Dollar Days over Labor Day Weekend, and on Lemonade Days, proceeds benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Admission to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is $58 for adults and $42 for children. Season pass members receive free parking, pass holder events, Bring-A-Friend Days, in-park discounts for as low as $123.
