New theme parks, touted to rival Disney and Universal Studios, is in talks for both Fort Worth, Texas, and Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

The new theme parks by DreamVision Company would be a combination theme park and entertainment complex. In Texas, the action would revolve around “DreamVision Mountain.” The snow-covered, “winter” mountain would offer indoor skiing, snowboarding and other winter, snow sports. The complex “DreamScape” area would create a Hollywood-themed area, complete with movie studio. The park is estimated to cost $3.5 million and would be set on 5,000-acres. In Alabama, the park would focus on the musical heritage of the area in a “DreamVision Soundscape.” The 1,400-acre park would also cost $3.5-million and include a water playground, golf courses, retail and hotels.

Both projects would be designed in partnership with the Thomas Kinkade Company for design. The plans include 2019/2020 opening dates.
