First-Ever International Nickelodeon Hotel Now Taking Reservations

Nickelodeon characters may be in constant rotation on your television sets, and now, kids and their parents can jet away for an international getaway with Nickelodeon when it opens its first property outside of the U.S. this May, 2016.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, will be operated by Karisma Hotels & Resorts. The hotelier’s all-inclusive Gourmet Inclusive brand hotels, especially popular in Mexico, initially offered its Nickelodeon Experience at its properties, bringing characters and Nickelodeon-themed fun to guests. Now, it will provide an entire property designed for families with a Nickelodeon touch,

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts will feature a Nickelodeon Village with an Aqua Nick Playground with water activities, a Just Kiddin’ hangout spot, and a Character Central to meet folks like Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants throughout the day. An Sports & Entertainment Center, Vassa Spa, and kid-friendly, yet elegant restaurants and guest rooms will also be highlights.

The resort is expected to open in May 2016 and is now accepting reservations with a special Sun, Slime & Savings discount. Book a minimum four-night stay in May through Dec. 18, 2016, and receive up to 45 percent off room rates. (Must book by Jan. 31, 2016.) Kids Stay, Eat and Play Free promotions are also combinable with the special offer.
