Four Gaylord Hotels across the country are welcoming families to its properties this summer with a special SummerFest series, launching Memorial Day Weekend. The destination resorts with indoor gardens, multiple dining options, entertainment, pools and more are transforming the spaces to celebrate summer vacations.

Gaylord National Resort in Maryland’s National Harbor, just opposite of Washington, D.C., will feature its SummerFest on weekends from May 26 through September 4, 2017. A special concert series will be offered in the 19-story glass atrium, including nights of Jazz, Country and even Silent Disco Parties where guests don headphones to play dance music. Kids will have their own Summer PJ Parties with Silent Disco nights. The atrium will also be the hot place to go for a laser light show in the evenings, with “Americana” displaying choreographed lights, music and dancing water in the signature fountain. Summer Movie Matinees will be offered poolside, and a Music Mystery Scavenger Hunt will take place, as well.

In Nashville, the original Gaylord Opryland Resort will feature “Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” theme daily from May 26 through September 10, 2017. The nine-acre resort will transform into Wonderland, with indoor gardens filled with giant mushrooms, teacups, caterpillars and more. Special events will include Follow the White Rabbit scavenger hunt, Hatter’s Floating Tea Party Cruise on the indoor river, nightly fountain shows and family-friendly films, poolside Splash Party, a new Build-a-Bear Workshop, the Queen of Arts tour or local artwork, and Wonderland-inspired spa treatments for adults and kids.

Just outside of Orlando, the Gaylord Palms Resort near the Main Gate of the Magic Kingdom is celebrating daily from May 26 through August 13, 2017. Offering beach parties, pool parties, live music, Legends of Rock & Surf Scavenger Hunt, Rock ‘n Roll Never Dies Ghost Tour, arts and crafts, face painting, PJ parties, Junior Chefs Camp, singalong, and poolside movies. The resort’s Cypress Springs Water Park has added three new water slides and a double FlowRider surf simulator, which will transform into a GlowRider on select nights with DJ music accompanying the surfing.

Finally, the Gaylord Texas Resort in Grapevine is celebrating a Lone Star summer daily from May 26 through September 4, 2017. “Lone Star Adventures” include the all-new Escape Room, “Escape the Wild West,” and Crazy Pete’s Panning Adventure for gold and gems in the resort’s river.
