Michigan’s Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island reopens May 4, 2017, for its 130th season. To celebrate this historic event, three new Cupola Suites will be unveiled.

The now 393-room hotel features individually designed rooms, with the three new suites added to the hotel’s fourth floor. By adding the new rooms and five dormer windows, the hotel’s skyline will look like it did when it first opened in 1887. As a National Historical Landmark, the hotel also features the world’s largest hotel porch, at 660 feet. Its fully renovations have been completed for the seasonal opening, as well.

The Grand Hotel will celebrate its anniversary officially the weekend of June 30. Guests will receive a copy of “Inside the Grand Hotel” documentary, and can enjoy a Q&A and presentation with the hotel’s historian. The hotel will remain open for its 130th season through the end of October, 2017.
