The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze returns to Historic Hudson Valley Oct. 2, bringing 30 nights of Halloween fun to the tri-state area. More than 7,000 individually hard-carved and illuminated jack o’lanterns will be on display in Croton-on-Hudson in Sleepy Hollow County during a nighttime walk-through experience.

Housed on the grounds of the 18th Century Van Cortlandt Manor (rain or shine), the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze includes synchronized lighting, sound effects and an original soundtrack recorded by Richard Christy. New to the experience this fall is a Circus Train, Pumpkin Planetarium and flying pumpkin ghosts.

The shows sell out quickly and are $20 for adults and $16 for children ages 3 to 17 ($25 and $20, respectively on Saturdays). Children 3 and younger are free. The event takes place Oct. 2 to 4, 9 to 12, 15 to 18, and 21 to 31, and Nov. 1, 5 to 8 and 13 to 15. Purchase tickets in advance online on Historic Hudson Valley’s website.
