Halloween in Hershey Kicks Off Mid-Month

Hershey, Pennsylvania, is kicking off its Halloween happenings Oct. 16, running Fridays through Sundays through Nov. 1.

Included in Hershey’s family-focused events are:

Hersheypark in the Dark. Hersheypark’s nighttime fun features more than 50 rides and attractions with Halloween-themed entertainment. Hershey’s Trick-or-Treat Adventure is found in Hersheypark, as well as Hershey’s Chocolate World and Treatville. Children 12 and younger can wear costumes and collect candy.

Creatures of the Night. ZooAmerica’s Halloween fun provides an after dark visit to the zoo, where kids can witness nocturnal animals strutting their stuff.

Trick-or-Trolley. Limited edition trolley tours uncover the story of Milton Hershey with plenty of treats.

Black Cat Alley. Visit the Hershey Story, the Museum and Chocolate Avenue to follow the black cat, spin crafts and trick-or-treat. The event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pumpkin Glow. Hershey Gardens lights up at night with 150 cared jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows, pumpkin-carving demonstrations and more trick or treating for kids 12 and younger. The event takes place 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 23, 24, 30 and 31.
