Following the film release of “Catching Fire” in 2013, theme park rumors did, in fact, catch fire, causing a mix of excitement and outrage. While park plans still haven’t been confirmed, Lionsgate Films has announced something else for fans: “The Hunger Games: The Exhibit.”

Expected to debut in the summer of 2015, the traveling exhibit will feature mostly interactive displays with costumes, props and other artifacts used in the first three films, specifically scenes at the futuristic Capitol and various districts within Panem.

“We’re thrilled to launch this initiative with the U.S. tour of The Hunger Games exhibition, which celebrates the world of The Hunger Games and offers Hunger Games fans an extensive behind-the-scenes look at the movie-making process,” says Lionsgate Chief Marketing Officer, Tim Palen.

The exhibit will travel to museums and institutions across America, and will also pair with local school programs. Advance tickets will be available, as well.
