Jamaica officially welcomed its newest all-inclusive resort: the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande.

Opening in July during a “soft opening” phase, the first Palace property to open outside of Mexico celebrated its grand opening earlier this month. Located on Ocho Rios Bay, Palace Resorts acquired the former Sunset Resorts property in 2014. After undergoing $50 million in enhancements to convert and upgrade the property, Palace now provides one more luxury all-inclusive resort to the island of Jamaica.

Moon Palace features a kids’ club for children ages 12 and younger, a teen lounge, FlowRider Double wave simulator and an expansive beachfront with ample water sports and oceanfront swimming pools. Guest rooms, restaurants and common areas all received a new look, more in line with the Palace Resorts experience.
