The United States Postal Service is launching a Letters from Santa program today, Thanksgiving Day. While your family is all together for the holiday, take some time to write a letter to Santa and within weeks kids will receive letters back!

Kids write their letters to Santa and place it in an envelope. Secretly, parents write a personalized response as Santa and include it with the child’s letter, along with a self-address stamped envelope with the return address that reads Santa Claus, North Pole.

Letters must be received by Dec. 15, 2016, at the following address:

North Pole Postmark
Postmaster
4141 Postmark Drive
Anchorage, AK 99530-9998

The postmaster will stamp your letter from Santa with a North Pole stamp and return the letter to your child by mail.

The U.S.P.O. is also releasing its new holiday stamps: Holiday Windows (shown).
