Adding more ways to get wet and wild this summer, Kings Island’s Soak City water park is opening its new Tropical Plunge when it reopens Memorial Day Weekend.

A new 65-foot-tall water structure, Tropical Plunge features six new water slides. Three slides feature an Aqua Launch chamber, with the floor dropping from beneath guests for a free-fall on high-speed, near-vertical water slides. Two slides compete on a 337-foot-long dueling ride, while the final slide is an enclosed chute featuring four 360-degree loops.

The new addition brings Soak City to 35 acres with 36 water slides, two wave pools, and more than 50 water activities and play areas.

Soak City reopens Saturday, May 28, while Kings Island reopens for the season today. The parks are located in Mason, Ohio, near Cincinnati.
