Le Meridien Hotels and The LEGO Group are building a program for families, expected to launch this fall.

Young guests at Le Meridien Hotels — part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts — will receive a welcome amenity upon check-in at all of the brand’s hotels. Children ages 5 to 12 will receive a Go-Kart Racer Set, while those as young as 18 months will get DUPLO Blocks. Some locations have already started to roll out the program.

The amenity is the first feature that will be offered in the new program, known as Le Meridien Family. “Le Meridien Family will focus on illuminating, immersive and inventive experiences for the entire family, to ignite imaginations on-property and unlock the local destination for both parents and children,” according to an official news release.

Major hotel brands continue to prioritize family travel. Azul Hotels by Karisma recently launched Nickelodeon Experiences, complete with character meet-and-greet opportunities and themed amenities, such as Slime Smoothies. Earlier in 2015, Hard Rock Hotels also announced it would offer a kids’ program called Hard Rock Roxstars.
