A new art and light installation debuts tonight at the Van Cortlandt Manor in the Hudson River Valley. LIGHTSCAPES, a walk-through, land-art experience, will take place on weekend evenings through May 31st.

Developed by the same creators of the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze, which features hundreds of hand-carved, light jack-o-lanterns for fall walk-through experiences, LIGHTSCAPES features flora, fauna and magical woodland creatures and colorful insects. The illuminated creations include dragonflies, pinwheels, butterflies, mushrooms and a giant praying mantis all spread about the grounds of Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson.

Advance ticket purchase is required, as the 15 shows are expected to sell out. Tickets are available online: $16 for adults, $12 for children ages 3 to 17, and free for children under 3. Show times vary by evening.
