Visitors to California can all scream as the Museum of Ice Cream launches in its second location this spring. Opening in Los Angeles, the Museum of Ice Cream is a seasonal traveling exhibition that will take place in Downtown Los Angeles. The original showcase debuted in New York City and sold out in five days. Tickets to this year’s event are on sale April 3 and expected to go quickly.

The Museum of Ice Cream features interactive exhibits, including a swimmable sprinkle pool, a melted popsicle jungle, a banana split made of 10,000 “bananas,” and new signature creations. Operating from April 22 to May 29, a scoop of the week will include ice cream from California creamery’s McConnell’s, CREAM, Coolhaus x Cuisinart, and Salt & Straw. More than 30 ice cream products will be available to purchase.

The Museum of Ice Cream will operate Wednesday through Monday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (closed Tuesdays) at 2018 East 7th Place in Los Angeles. Tickets are $29 for adults and $18 for children ages 3 to 12. Purchase tickets at the Museum of Ice Cream website.
