Star Wars creator George Lucas has finally selected the future home of a museum dedicated to his films, art, comics and more: Los Angeles. The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will be created at Exposition Park, near the University of Southern California.

Although the museum will not be dedicated solely to “Star Wars,” it has been nicknamed as such, with plans to focus on art, illustration, artifacts, costumes, props and comics from Lucas’ own collection of memorabilia of more than 40,000 items. The nearly $1-billion museum will also showcase items from films such as “Casablanca” and “The Wizard of Oz.”

A date for opening the new 250,000-square-foot property, which has yet to break ground, has not been announced.
