Magical New Nightscape Exhibit Arrives at Philadelphia’s Longwood Gardens

A magical new exhibit has opened at Longwood Gardens, a botanical gardens outside of Philadelphia. The new exhibit utilizing light illuminates the gardens in the evenings with dancing light, starbursts, video presentations and twinkling light.

Running now through October 31, 2015, Wednesday through Saturday evenings, the special exhibit is selling timed tickets to space out the crowds. In September, the optimal viewing times begin at 8:30 p.m., while in October the optimal times will be 7:30 p.m. Guests need to select Nightscape entrance times, but entrance is included with Longwood Gardens admission. The gardens open at 9 a.m. daily. Tickets are $27 for adults and $17 for children ages 5 to 18. Children 4 and younger are free.

Accompanying the exhibit is the addition of a new Beer Garden, featuring Victory Brewing Company beers and pub fare. The new beer garden will be open on evenings of Nightscape, from 6 to 11 p.m.
