Marriott Opens First Hotel in Thriving Pearl District

Marriott International has opened the first hotel in Downtown Portland, Oregon’s thriving, revitalized Pearl District along the Willamette River. The new Residence Inn is a six-story, 223-suite hotel with studio and one-and two-bedroom accommodations. All suites feature separate living and sleeping areas with fully equipped kitchens with refrigerators, dishwashers, serving and cooking utensils, and dining area. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city and the Cascade Mountains.

The hotel is located on Ninth Avenue and also features a 1,600-square-foot courtyard with a fire pit. The hotel also features an indoor pool and fitness center, laundry facilities, a 24-hour market that serves free breakfast daily, and a lobby bar.

Rates start at $139 per night.
