Marriott International will launch a new lifestyle brand, Moxy Hotels, for an edgier, Millennial audience this spring. Moxy Hotels will offer more self-service accommodations with social spaces, technology features and even selfie-inspired decor.
Moxy, which debuted in Milan in 2014, enters the U.S. in New Orleans and Tempe, Arizona, this April and March, respectively. Moxy New Orleans, steps from the French Quarter, will feature 108 rooms, social get-togethers, and a contemporary design. Roxy Tempe will offer 186 rooms, cruiser bikes for guests, and a lively pool scene.
Additional Moxy Hotels are slated to open in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago and Nashville. Marriott plans to open nearly 150 properties around the globe in the next 10 years.
