Miami Beach has been a spring hot spot for decades. Just in time for the next round of families heading south for spring break, four new hotels will be opening in the area this spring.

1 Hotel South Beach
Formerly the Gansevoort South, this hotel will reopen on March 1 after $100 million in renovations. Once popular for its celebrity clientele in the 50s, the hotel is aimed at a luxury market with pricey rooms, multiple pools and a prime location on 600 feet of beach.

AC Hotels by Marriott South Beach
Marriott’s Spanish AC Hotels chain will arrive in Miami on Collins Avenue, offering 150 room options and free Wi-Fi.

Aloft Miami Beach
(Pictured above) The softer version of W Hotels (meaning more budget-friendly) will open on Collins Avenue on April 16 with 235 rooms, kids’ club, free Wi-Fi and all of the amenities one expects from the Aloft brand.

Hyatt South Beach
Although an official opening date hasn’t been released, Hyatt South Beach will join Miami in the spring with beach access, a pool and 105 rooms.
