Many children have grown up loving the Miffy picture books series, which has been published since 1955. Now, fans of Miffy have a museum dedicated to the character and friends.

On February 6, 2016, the Miffy Museum will open in Utrecht in the Netherlands, home of Miffy’s creator, Dick Bruna. The museum will be the first of its kind and will provide a place for kids to interactively explore Miffy’s world. The Miffy Museum will feature 10 different rooms dedicated to different subjects that form a colorful miniature world. Kids will find Miffy’s house, a zoo area, a picnic area, an art room and more.

The museum will be open Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature creative workshops every weekend. A cafe is located across the street, but families are welcome to bring their own food and snacks.
