Azul Sensatori Jamaica recently celebrated its opening with a grand celebration, adding a new family-friendly all-inclusive resort to Negril’s Seven Mile Beach. The hotel occupies what was formerly Beaches Sandy Bay, with a complete overhaul and renovations to bring the resort to the standards of an Azul resort.

The 136-room hotel is spread out among a number of two-story buildings, including one section of 58 rooms dedicated to adults’ only, making the resort a good option for multigenerational travelers: grandparents can vacation with their children and grandchildren, but enjoy the quieter adults-only section for accommodations. The resort also offers a Multigenerational section with family suites with one- to two-bedrooms. With connecting room options, some guest rooms can accommodate up to eight people.

Kids can enjoy two kids’ clubs. The Azulitos by Fisher Price is reserved for ages 6 months to 4 years, while children 5 to 12 can enjoy the Playhouse. The resort also features a pool, splash playground and outdoor playground.

Rooms feature 42-inch flatscreen TV’s, iPod docking stations, stocked included minibar with snacks and sodas, and some swim-up suites. Four onsite restaurants are included with the price, including buffet, Caribbean, Italian and Mediterranean restaurants. Wi-Fi is available for an additional charge.
