Ober Gatlinburg hasn’t opened a new ski slope since 1987, but that’s about to change.

The resort has announced Yeti’s Run, expected to open for Winter 2014-2015. The new slope will span 635 feet, and be considered “Advanced Difficulty.” It will also feature lighting for nighttime skiing and snowboarding.

Also, Ober Gatlinburg — which doubles as an amusement park — will launch Mountain Coaster in Spring 2015. Riders will be treated to amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains as they’re whisked along 4,000 feet of track for five and a half minutes.

Visitors can look forward to a new Bobcat Exhibit, too, which will be home to two new Bobcats who came to the park earlier this year.
