New Details Revealed for Loews Sapphire Falls Resort

Universal Orlando Resort recently announced new details for Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, expected to debut in 2016. Here’s what families can expect:

Rooms
The new hotel will have 1,000 rooms, including 77 suites. All accommodations will feature bright pastels and tropical theming.

Pool
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will tout the largest pool at Universal Orlando Resort. Spanning 16,000-square-feet, it will feature zero-entry access, a waterslide, sandy beach and fire pits.

Dining
The hotel will house a restaurant called Amatista Cookhouse. Kids will love the restaurant’s open kitchen, and an outdoor space will overlook the resort’s lagoon. There will also be a lobby bar called Strong Water Tavern, where parents will be able to enjoy craft beer and tapas.

Location
The new property will be located between Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Loews Royal Pacific Resort. It will be linked to Loews Royal Pacific Resort by a pedestrian bridge.

Park Perks
Guests of Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will enjoy early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, along with complimentary transportation to the parks, plus CityWalk.

Loews Sapphire Resort will become the fifth hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. The other hotels are: Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort.
