The holiday season is just around the corner, and Newport Beach, California, is already thinking Christmas and announcing its 108th annual Boat Parade. The longest-running lighted holiday boat parade in the country will be held Dec. 14 to 18, 2016.

Every December, Newport Harbor transforms into an illuminated Winter Wonderland with vessels of all sizes adorned from top to bottom with lights, decorations, dancers, music, moving displays and more. The parade starts off Bay Island at 6:30 p.m. and finishes at the same site around 9 p.m. every evening of the 5-day event. The parade travels 14 miles around the harbor, where viewers can get a glimpse from yacht clubs, public beaches, area restaurants and piers.

The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade is presented by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
