Norwegian Airlines is now offering direct flights to the Caribbean island of Martinique from New York, Washington, D.C., and Boston this week.

Beginning Dec. 3, passengers in JFK began boarding direct flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Visitors in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area also began flying from BWI on Mondays and Fridays, and today flyers in Boston will be able to fly on Wednesdays and Sundays. The new flights will land at Martinique’s Fort-de-France, the first time in over 20 years the island has had direct flights from the Northeast.
