The waterfront continues to expand its offerings for visitors to Philadelphia. Penn’s Landing on the Delaware River Waterfront will debut RiverRink Summerfest, the only outdoor dollar skating rink in the city.

RiverRink Summerfest, which follows the popular Winterfest ice skating attraction, will provide ticketed roller skating, rentals and a shaded “island” with seating.

The riverfront will also become a landscaped environment for pop-up dining experiences and a family-friendly environment at its Spruce Street Harbor, which will bring back its boardwalk with hammocks and seating, free to all visitors. The two park areas are connected by foot or bike to extend Philadelphia’s outdoor offerings during the summer months.

Both parks debut Memorial Day Weekend, May 22, 2015.
