As Halloween season fades and we turn our attention to the holidays, Santa Cruz, California, is offering a Golden Ticket to the North Pole when the Polar Express arrives for the first time. The newest location for the Polar Express seasonal rides arrives on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, traveling on the Santra Cruz and Monterey Bay Railroad.

Like its counterparts, the Santa Cruz Polar Express will recreate moments from the beloved movie and book of the same name. Kids wearing pajamas are welcome to board the train to the North Pole as dancing chefs serve hot chocolate and cookies. Santa will board the train at the North Pole and lead caroling and giving all children a magical silver sleigh bell to take home. The ride lasts an hour and is available Nov. 18 to 20, 23, 25 to 27, 30; and Dec. 1 to 4, 7 to 11, and 14 to 23.

Santa Cruz boutique hotel property Hotel Paradox, Autograph Collection Hotel is offering a special Polar Express Train Ride Package that includes exclusive Golden Ticket entry, cookies and milk delivered to your room, and more for $175 per adult and $29 per child.
