Mean Streak in FrontierTown at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio will close permanently on September 16 of this year.

The ride opened in the summer of 1991 and was considered the world’s tallest and fastest wooden rollercoaster. Over the years, more than 26 million people have experienced the ride.

Those looking to get one last ride in should plan to do so on or before September 5, though they will host a bonus weekend on September 10 and 11, as well.

The closing ceremony will take place on the first night of Halloweekends, September 16. The ride will be open from 6 to 7 p.m., and a special ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m.
