A new 8-acre exhibit opens this summer at the San Diego Zoo, the largest expansion in its 100-year-old history. The $68-million Africa Rocks exhibit brings new habitats of Africa to sunny California, including a West African forest, Ethiopian highlands and the island of Madagascar.

Six new habitats will debut this summer at the world-renowned zoo, including a new home for the African penguins that recently joined the fray of animals at the San Diego Zoo. Until it opens, the zoo has a live web camera on the penguins for you to play paparazzi!
