Two cartoon-themed play areas geared toward younger visitors will be added to Six Flags Over Georgia’s attractions in 2016. The Atlanta-area theme park is expanding its Bugs Bunny BoomTown and adding Six Flags’ first DC Super Friends kiddie land, adding 12 new kid-friendly rides.

The first DC Super Friends to appear at a Six Flags theme park, the new kid’s land will feature DC Super Friends comic book characters, such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Five new attractions will include a bouncing drop tower, mirror maze, junior coaster and flying jets and helicopters. The new themed area will replace the current Dolphin Show.

The already popular themed play area, Bugs Bunny Boomtown, will receive an expansion, adding seven new attractions, new live shows, and more shade and seating areas. New attractions will include flying ships, an interactive water ride, bouncing drop tower, a junior Ferris wheel, a truck-driving ride and a climbing playground.

Six Flags Over Georgia will debut the expanded Bugs Bunny Boomtown in early spring 2016, and the new DC Super Friends area Memorial Day weekend.
