Think Stowe Mountain Resort is just a ski destination? Think again! The resort is opening an $80-million Adventure Center, bringing warm-weather fun to the mountain in 2016.

The new Adventure Center, debuting in June, will be open year-round to provide fun to families and serves as the new home to Stowe’s Clubs Day Care and Summer Adventure Camp for ages 3 to 12. The center also is home to the brand new Stowe Rocks indoor rock climbing center. In the summer months, the center will be the launching point of Stowe’s ZipTour Adventure, which the resort claims is the world’s fastest zip line experience with three courses running down the mountain, and its Tree Top Adventure, which is a tree course of more than 60 aerial tree-to-tree connections for various challenges to multiple age groups. In the winter months, the center will be home to the children’s Ski and Ride School.

The Adventure Center at Stowe Mountain Resort also features a new restaurant, The Canteen, and Adventure Outfitters retail shop.
