The latest resort to become a Certified Autism Center is the Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa in Punta Cana.

The resort’s staff has been certified by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). It is the only destination in the Dominican Republic to hold such credentials (and is one of just four in the entire Caribbean to be certified).

The all-inclusive Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa offers five swimming pools, age-based kids’ clubs, 13 restaurants, 22 bars, a casino, and of course, a gorgeous beach. There are a wide variety of accommodations, as well.

This news follows Sesame Place’s announcement as the first autism-certified amusement park in the world.
