Universal Orlando’s annual Halloween Horror Nights celebrates its 25th season by bringing back some of its most popular past events. Launching on select nights this Friday through November 1, guests can enjoying Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida theme parks by day, and then at night, watch the parks transform into spooky haunted houses.

This year’s event will feature nine haunted houses, including its most popular “An American Werewolf in London.” All new houses based on iconic past attractions include “RUN: Blood, Sweat and Fears,” “Asylum in Wonderland 3D,” “Body Collectors: Recollections,” and “Jack Presents; 25 Years of Monsters and Mayhem.” Two live shows will include “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure” and “The Carnage Returns.”

The Halloween events have been deemed frightening, and are best-suited for children 13 years and older. For more frights, read 10 Best Haunted Houses for Teens. For less scary events for younger children, read 11 Kid-Friendly Halloween Events.
