Vermont Prepares for Ski Season With New and Improved Hotels

Just in time for 2015-16 ski season to launch, Vermont’s ski and snowboard resorts have announced new and improved additions.

Q Burke Mountain
Construction was completed on a brand-new 116-room Hotel and Conference Center. The new property opened with a day lodge, restaurant, pub and cafe, and will be offering a “Ski Free” deal from Dec. 11 to 26, 2015.

Jay Peak
Thirty-six new mountain cottages have opened at Jay Peak for the winter season, adding to Jay Peak Resort’s accommodations offerings.

Stowe Mountain Resort
The resort, home to Stone Mountain Lodge, is continuing its massive expansion with the opening of a new building and family amenities at Spruce Peak. New facilities include a children’s activities center, retail shops, restaurants, food markets, and a new Stowe Mountain Alpine Clubhouse.

Stratton Mountain Resort
The resort is investing $9 million in a Main Base Lodge project, which will not be compete for the new ski season, but will debut at Stratton in 2016.
