After touting it will open the world’s tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster in the world, Cedar Point, the self-proclaimed Roller Coaster Capital of the World, is finally ready to unveil its Valravn coaster.

Riders sitting eight across on 24-passenger floorless trains with tiered seating will soar with Valravn, climbing 223 feet before taking a 90-degree drop at 75 miles per hour. The 3-minute ride will have riders flipping in a 165-foot-tall loop before a half loop and a half roll before taking back off in the opposite direction for a second plunge 125 feet down, also at a 90-degree angle before looping two more times and completing a 270-degree toll. The entire ride takes place on more than 3,400 feet of track and becomes the 18th coaster to join Cedar Point’s famed and record-breaking coasters.

Valryn is expected to break 10 records when it opens, including tallest dive coaster, faster dive coaster, longest dive coaster, most inversions on a dive coaster, longest drop on a dive coaster and highest inversion on a dive coaster. Its addition also brings Cedar Rapids to the most rides at one amusement park (71!), most roller coasters taller than 200 feet at one amusement park (five), most steel roller coaster track at one amusement park (nearly 10 miles!) and most roller coaster track at one amusement park (11.4 miles!).
