Thrill-seekers, rejoice: Verruckt has opened. The world’s tallest water slide, located at Kansas City‘s Schlitterbahn Waterpark, is 17 stories high; it is taller than Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty.

Riders must be at least 14 years of age and 54-inches tall to ride Verucckt. They must also be willing to climb 264 stairs to reach the slide’s summit. Once riders — who sit in three-person rafts — are secured by safety belts, they plummet 168 feet at speeds of 60 to 70 mph before ascending and descending a second hill.

In April, Verruckt slid into the Guinness Book of World Records.
