Wow, where to begin! This was one of the most incredible trips we have ever taken and we have been all over the world. The best part? We were able to include our 6-month-old daughter in the adventure! When we first found out about the Great Bear Rainforest, I knew we had to go, but how can we explore the wilderness while having a relaxing vacation with a baby? Nimmo Bay was a perfect balance! They accommodated us taking her kayaking, whale watching and hiking and then arranged childcare when we wanted to go bear viewing! The entire experience was pure luxury and the food was divine! I can't recommend it enough!

To say that Nimmo Bay was spectacular is a painful and unjust understatement. Ridiculously luxurious while being down to earth. Hmmm, you might be saying. That doesn't even seem possible. Don't believe me? Out on the deck, comfy couch, lush pillows, blanket made of what? cashmere? Is that possible? Wine in hand. Water view. Bald eagle glides by so close you can hear the deep hiss of wind through its wings. That was in the first hour. Like any good story, each chapter is better than the last. Hot tub at the base of a waterfall. Flyfishing some of the greatest rivers on earth. Alone. Having traveled there by helicopter. Mountains. Bays. Whales, Glaciers. Floating, wood-fired sauna. You think I am teasing you now? No! It is all true. Eating anything in this setting would be divine - but the food and wine - THE WINE!! - at Nimmo Bay.... Insane.
