Overview

Located 5 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, the Nisqually Lodge makes a great basecamp for exploring Longmire and Paradise. The lodge offers spacious, newly remodeled rooms in a variety of configurations, including rooms with two queen beds, a king room, and a large Family/Junior suite with four queen beds, a fireplace, and tons of extra space for kids.

Lodge amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast with waffles, sausages, eggs, and cereal, free Wi-Fi, and microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. In the Northwest-themed lobby with a cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace, find complimentary tea, coffee, cocoa, and wine from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for mom and dad. The staff is happy to make restaurant recommendations for dinner. This lodge is a good choice for budget-conscious families who want to avoid national park prices.

Nice stay, great location, very clean!

This small lodge is just a few minutes drive away from the main entrance to Mount Rainier. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and had a coffee maker, large flat screen TV, refrigerator, and microwave. The internet was spotty and slow, but our Verizon phones had a good signal. The breakfast was okay but didn’t start until 7am. They served scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, juices, etc. The breakfast room was very small. If location, comfort and cleanliness are important to you I would recommend staying here!!

Great entry spot for Mt Rainier National Park

Very friendly staff, comfortable and quiet accommodation. They really care about their customers and do everything they can to make you feel valued. They could not serve breakfast until about 9 am the morning we checked out due to an illness with the manager, but they followed up the following week with a partial room refund. I would not stay anywhere else in Ashford.
