It’s an easy walk to Ocean Avenue to indulge in shopping and dining. If you want to take a break from the beach, the inn has a heated outdoor swimming pool. Normandy Inn’s cottage suites are some of the biggest in Carmel and have a storybook aesthetic. The suites are perfect for large families with three bedrooms, two baths, and a kitchenette.

Great hotel close to beach

This is wonderful hotel that is close to beach and restaurants. The rooms are good size and the decor is nice with plantation shutters. The bed was firm and comfortable. The remodeled bathroom was clean and nicely done, The hotel staff are friendly and helpful to recommend points of interest. They did a nice job in updating this old hotel and it is very charming. The breakfast has lots of cold food selections with some fruits and hard boiled eggs. The one drawback is there is very limited parking onsite so you may have to on the street. Overall experience is very good and I will come again.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages. Everything was wonderful. There was a little courtyard outside our room. The Inn is close to the beach and shops. There is a breakfast that provided bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, boiled eggs, muffins and fruit. Plus coffee and tea and juice.

Pool seemed to be heated.
