Overview

These cozy cabins in the woods can sleep a family of five in two rooms, one with a queen bed and another upstairs with a queen and twin beds. There’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out downstairs in the comfortable living room, dining area and kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop and oven. Even though the cabin is right off the busy Richardson Highway, all you’ll feel is peace and seclusion. The property is surrounded by trees, with Beaver Springs Creek outside your cabin door and Beaver Lake a short walk down the road. All the supplies you need for a continental breakfast are stocked in your cabin before you arrive. Be sure to ask your hosts about their restored antique cars. If you’re lucky, they’ll give you a ride around town in an old Ford Model T.

North Pole Cabins is located in North Pole, a 20-minute drive from the Fairbanks Airport. You’ll be less than 2 miles from a large grocery store at the North Pole Plaza Shopping Center. Several casual and fine-dining restaurants are nearby as well. Kids will want to pay a visit to Jolly Ol’ St. Nick at the renowned Santa Claus House, which is open all year. Not far from Santa’s workshop is the mile-long Beaver Springs Nature Trail, where you’re sure to spot some wildlife. For more attractions, restaurants and shopping, the bright lights of Fairbanks are just 12 miles down the highway. With its clean, spacious rooms and private wooded location, the North Pole Aurora Lodge is a great place to stay during your family vacation in Alaska.

Best place in the area

by drew0987

We stayed here 11 nights while in Fairbanks. Nancy, the owner is extremely helpful with places to go and things to see. There is so much to do here we were busy everyday.
The cabin is on a creek which was frozen. It's in the woods so you think you're way out however you are near everything. We would stay again when in the area.

Great place to enjoy Alaska

by ChrisVillaTroop

This cabin was great, perfect for our stay. Close to Fairbanks and an hour from Chena Hot Springs. Really comfortable and felt like home. Small stove and microwave on the cabin so you can cook your own food. A great place to get away from the city and have a good time.
