Another amazing stay at the Canary Wharf Novotel

by Sarah M

Having stayed at this hotel before and really liking it, we decided to book a few rooms for a family celebration weekend including Mamma Mia the Party at the 02 and we had an amazing time. This hotel has lots of positives:
1) good value for London
2) good size of rooms with modern furnishings
3) amazing views across London
4) helpful and friendly staff
5) rooftop bar and restaurant
We highly recommend the modern Novotel in Canary Wharf and I’m sure we’ll be back.

City break weekend

by lwenlock

A nicely located modern hotel. When your arrive you are greeted by friendly and attentive staff.

The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The bed was a little too firm for my liking but everyone has there own preference. The TV in the room was huge.

The breakfast was great with spectacular views over the city from the 38th floor restaurant
Full English breakfast or continental and cereal self service buffet.

Some minor negative points preventing a five star review :-

The four lifts although very fast were also frustrating. A particular problem when we were trying to get up to the top floor for a late breakfast and most of the know coming down.

The shower in our room was underpowered

The glass shower screen is a bit gimmicky. If you use the restroom in the night and turn on the light you will wake your partner as the hole room is bathed in light through the panel.

The honey for breakfast seemed flavourless and maybe should be sourced from elsewhere (I am a beekeeper).

Only minor niggles and would stay again.
