2 Star hotel marketed as 4

by Sounio1

There are so many issues with this hotel and is deceiving that they market it as a 4-star hotel

To begin with, they have dirty furniture in the lobby with a reception table (not counter) that is often chaotic as there is no order or organization.
The quality of the beds is so bad as they use foam pillows (photo below) and polyester sheets. The walls are paper thin. We were subjected to hearing an argument of guests nextdoor through the connecting door until 1:30 am and the hallway.
Finally, the shower from the ceiling sprays the entire counter, floor, and mirror of the bathroom floor.

I had left my iphone on the bathroom counter not knowing the defective shower situation. My phone was destroyed.

We will never return to a Novotel brand ever again.
The employees are not empowered and cannot and will not do anything to remedy.

Great location

Awesome location, close to Tower castle and bridge with easy access to hop on hop off buses for those sight seeing. The rooms are pretty small with no seperate bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the view of the tower out of our window was amazing.
