Novotel Sydney Central has a great downtown location within walking distance of many family-friendly attractions. More than 250 rooms present crisp sheets, sitting areas and modern decors with neutral tones and splashes of color. Guests enjoy coffee and tea makers, flat-screen televisions and Internet access. Select units offer floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto kid-friendly balconies with city skyline views and no chance of anyone getting out. Suites are slightly larger with a dining area and a sofa bed. Field House Restaurant & Bar are at the lobby level of Sydney Central. Nice Comfortable Hotel, Good Location

by wkw18koi

My wife and I stayed here from 23/10 to 29/10.

This hotel is near to the following places:

(1) Central Station - 5 mins walk
(Get their OPAL Card, which is free , to use on public
transport to save cost)
(2) Paddy’s Market - 5 mins walk
(3) Very near Chinatown area
(4) 20 mins walk to Queen Victoria Building
( Directly opposite is Woolworths where you can do
some grocery shopping)
(5) 20 mins walk to Darling Harbour
(6) Lots of eateries all around so food is not a problem.
(7) Sushi Hub (Directly across Central Station) serves nice
Japanese food. Value for money as well.
(8) Directly opposite hotel, inside the commercial building
is a supermarket where you can get your necessities.
(9) If going to Opera House, you can either walk 45 mins or
just take 3 stations from Central Station.

Having stayed in other countries’ Novotel hotels before, we roughly know what to expect. The room which we stayed in is clean and comfortable. Noise irritation is non existent and both my wife and I had a wonderful 6 nights sleep. The hotel breakfast is nice but the only gripe we have is that there is limited varieties. We practically had similar food for all the days we were there.

Also please remember to check hotel breakfast timings. We were not informed of later timings for weekend breakfast and we missed out one day as we had an early departure for our day trip.

Their Manager Mr Farhan and his team was excellent and did their jobs professionally by delivering the highest level of service possible. Special mention must also be made to the .... thin, short blond hair, Caucasian female waiting staff at the breakfast area (Apologies i did not get your name). You served my wife and I wholeheartedly and we cannot thank you enough. We really also say a big “Thank You” to your team and Mr Farhan.????????

All in all, it was a good comfortable stay. We will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family members.????????????

Unforgettable Warm Welcome Experience

by yohanasharon

I stayed in the hotel from 25/10-29/10 using my staff rate. Dennis was the first person who greets me when I asked if I can put my luggage in the hotel first before check in at 2 pm later. He then gave me warm welcome and told me to meet the girl in reception because he knew that I’m using my staff rate and maybe I can do early check-in. Then I got it, and Michelle gave me two welcome drinks voucher that I can use anytime during my stay. I never feel so important as a fellow staff that stay in Accor property :)
