This 208-room, AAA three-Diamond hotel, situated in the historic area, is a good choice if you are planning to spend some time in Charlottesville along with exploring the southern and central portions of Shenandoah National Park. The rooms come with air-conditioning, coffee makers, television, honor bars and Internet. Kids can enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools. Cribs are free, but rollaways cost $15.

We stayed at the Omni on our wedding night and it was the perfect ending to an already perfect day. A beautiful room with the most amazingly comfortable bed, chocolate covered strawberries and bottles of champagne. After a long day of celebrating we slept like angels and woke up on a cloud of bliss.
We chose the Omni because it is located on the downtown mall which is where the best bars in town are. So after our wedding we had the after party on the downtown mall at a bar and when we were ready to finally retire we could just walk to our room that was waiting for us there.
Perfect, highly recommended.
