Customer Service could be better

by Cather C

We are leaving a day early because of an emergency at my house. This hotel is a beautiful resort with everything you need, but needs better employees with friendly personalities. The staff at the front desk especially Alex C. Needs to be friendly and act like they know what they are doing. Unfortunately his checked me in and checked me out. Never mention the hotel credit of 100 dollars for using the hotel collections thru AMEX, which he said it was Expedia, which clearly is was not. Also I am not sure if I was checkout properly because I was in a rush and he will email me my receipt. The pool towel guys were not friendly and were talking about they had to hold on to the chair towels because they are running out. Hello, not my problem and I had to ask for them because he did not want to give me two. The restaurant staff was wonderful, front desk and pool employees could learn from them. We were not greeted upon arrival or upon departure. If I was not in a rush, I would have spoken to the manager.

Room was amazing, water, ice, fruit and cookies in the guest pantry was a excellent touch. The food in Sea-guni was top notch. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Very nice walk-in shower. I would recommend this hotel but don’t let Alex help u at the front desk.

Amazing Stay

by HelwigScott

Hotel is clean, modern, and is located perfectly. The pool is perfect for kids and adults alike. The food and drinks are both way above what you would expect at a pool, and the wait staff are amazing (especially Emily). The beach is immaculate, and a couple hundred yards from the pool deck. My family and I cannot wait to come back.

Family Activities

Pool
The hotel's zero-entry pool offers an excellent view for the Gulf of Mexico. Lounge chairs and umbrella surround the elevated pool deck that overlooks the gulf. Pool towels are provided. A large hot tub is also situated across from the pool area and is a great place to relax in the evenings after a long day at the beach.

Beach
The cool, pretty white sands of Clearwater Beach and the blue Gulf of Mexico waters are only steps away from the hotel. The hotel offers direct beach access however it does not offer beach lounge chairs or cabanas. Cabanas and chairs are located on the beach and available for an additional fee.

Family Dining

Sea Guini
This onsite seafood and Italian restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Families will love the handmade pastas, local seafood and pizzas. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Cafe
Located in the lobby this grab-and-go cafe offers pastries, fruit and coffee drinks.

Sandbar
Located outside below the elevated pool area, this sandy bar also serves lunch and dinner in a casual beachside setting.

Pool Bar
This poolside bar serves sandwiches, salads and cocktails outside by large pool area.
