Excellent Choice for a weekend golf getaway

by chhelling

Was playing a two day event at Bayonet/Blackhorse and was looking for a good hotel option that wouldn't break the bank. The Pacific Monterey was the perfect choice. Value was excellent compared to what you will find closer to downtown for the same price points. Room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff made check-in/check-out a breeze. Hotel is fairly small and parking right outside the room was super easy and convenient. Would mention that the location wasn't the best if you are looking for close by food or nightlife options, but a quick Uber ride away from downtown. Overall I would give a 4/5 and not think twice about booking for another similar stay.

Modern chic for a great price

This motel is remodeled to a great modern look complete with great lighting in the bathroom and numerous outlets/USB ports. My husband and I have stayed here several times in various rooms and all seem to be very well kept and renovated. The only negative thing I can think of is walkability - you can't really walk anywhere interesting from here. The proximity to Monterey and nice room for the price outweighs staying directly in downtown Monterey.
