Editor’s Review of Paradisus Cancun Resort

One of many all-inclusive resorts along Hotel Zone in Cancun, the Paradisus stands out with its luxury service for families. The five pyramid-shaped buildings that comprise the expansive property make the resort feel secluded and quiet, even at full capacity. It's heavily landscaped, with ivy hanging in common areas and tropical plants at every turn. It's actually difficult to discern if you are indoors or outdoors when walking through corridors and common areas!

There are three types of all-inclusive service at the Paradisus: traditional all-inclusive, Family Concierge and Royal Service for adults only. The traditional all-inclusive service is everything you would imagine of an all-inclusive experience, with meals, pools,
... more water sports and more included. However, for a splurge, the Family Concierge service also provides luxury amenities for kids and parents. If grandparents want to join for the fun, they'll enjoy the adults-only section for a relaxing escape that's close enough to the grandkids. less

There are 663 rooms and suites at the Paradisus Resort, which is laid out in distinct pyramid-shaped buildings: the adults-only Royal Service, the Family Service in the center, and the traditional all-inclusive section. The largest rooms are located on the ground floor, and they stretch longer than other rooms and also provide walkout terraces for easy access to the pools and beach. Rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request.

Family Suites
Family suites are one-bedroom suites with two full bathrooms. The bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, while the living area features a queen-sized sleeper sofa. There is additional room for a rollaway or crib, and Family Suites are the only suites that can confirm connecting rooms to enlarge the suites to two-bedroom options.

Deluxe Suites
Standard rooms are available as Sunset View, which faces away from the beach and pools, or Ocean View. These rooms are 474 feet in square feet with a king or two double beds to accommodate four guests.

Family Concierge Suites
Available as Lagoon or Ocean Suites, the suites are 592 square feet with a private terrace with a view of the Nichupte Lagoon or 595 square feet with a view of the sea. Bedrooms may offer two double beds instead of a king.
