It was fine; nothing amazing and a little run down

by 818terim

We pulled up in a taxi, my mom got into her wheelchair, we had all of our luggage. There were four steps up to the hotel and it was lightly raining. The gentleman there said "how do you plan to get her up here?" I had booked an accessible room, so this was very disappointing, and incredibly rude. Everybody else was very helpful, though. The room was very plain, undecorated. The shower head was held on with duct tape. But it was clean and quiet. The food at their restaurant was surprisingly very good! I would not recommend it for anyone with a wheelchair or walker, but otherwise you get what you pay for and it isn't bad.

Clean, comfortable & friendly

I stayed for work. The room was exceptionally small and cramped but it had everything I needed, well equipped, clean & comfortable. It felt a little dated and felt a bit stuffy and musky when I first arrive. But the A/C improved things. I was afraid that it was going to be noisy as it fronts onto the main Cromwell Rd but it was actually reasonably quiet with the A/C running as a distraction. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average. Would have liked more choice of fresh fruit but otherwise ok. It’s certainly in a great position for exploring central London so if you’re happy with the price then I would recommend it. Although there’s nothing exceptional about it.
