New favourite London hotel

by louisefloydd

Stayed here with my children and partner on Saturday while celebrating a party nearby. The hotel is very well decorated, giving it a sleek cool funky look whilst being warm. The service throughout was exceptional. We were only disappointed not to be able to spend the evening at the hotel as the bar was fun and had a great atmosphere. We genuinely have planned to return ASAP and whilst I usually like to stay more centrally for London stays this it worth the extra two tube stops frankly.

A Perfect Stay

Holmes Hotel in London- we loved it. It’s the epitome of refinement, comfort and impeccable service. Perfectly attired doorman Marcus escorted us to Front Desks and welcoming lounges. Manager Bogdan Rotaru helped us through first evening health issues with options and making calls for us. His service and charming manner set the bar high and put our minds at peace. Dining Host brought a tray of teas and a leg rest for me. Manager Ron searched for lemons and printed an advise sheet for us to peruse noting how wearied we were. On our departure evening Manager Galen spent 1 1/2 hours making every effort on our behalf to book seats and passes with the problematic British Airlines. It was a fruitless endeavor - but testament to his tenacity and willingness to give perfect service.
Holmes Hotel is not pretentious nor snobby but is definitely first class service; welcoming rooms with superbly comfortable beds and finely detailed linens. The breakfasts offer several options and are delightfully prepared by several chefs on duty. Friendly well dressed serving staff attend to all needs. All of the above under the watchful discriminating eye of General Manager Jennifer McCabe. Clearly a job superbly carried out.
So very glad we took enthusiastic recommendation and spent 5 nights in the well located, charming and interesting Holmes Hotel on Chiltern St in London.
New guests you will not be disappointed
